JOHNATHAN DEPPISCH

Jonathan Deppisch is a multi-instrumentalist and music producer from the heart of the Canadian Prairies. With a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music Composition and a Diploma of Music Performance from MacEwan University, Deppisch brings a modern and informed take to his musicianship which has shaped his decade-long career within the music industry. With his years of studies on Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Piano, and Voice, Deppisch has performed with countless music projects across Canada with audiences of all sizes. Having composed music for multiple music ensembles in the styles of Jazz, Pop, and Classical, Deppisch continues to produce music for multiple artists across all genres as well as for his own artistic projects. His first solo album, CUTE (2020), is a love letter to electronic music artists like Snail’s House, Bo En and In Love With a Ghost while taking inspiration from video game music composers such as Koji Kondo, Jun Ishikawa, and Minako Adachi. Currently working on his next solo album in Toronto Canada, Deppisch continues his journey to brighter and happier places.
